I felt just like an Italian on this Vespa Tour Florence!

Since we’ve come to Italy all I’ve seen is Vespas, so I really wanted to drive one myself. And it was so much fun! Because you’re so much faster than walking or cycling, you really get to see a lot. We took some amazing photos as well - the tour guide was nice enough to take our photos at the Fattoria di Lavacchio and the Vallebona horse riding school.

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly

Paola was the smartest and most approachable tour guide I’ve ever had! I was careful with the Vespa because I hadn’t driven one recently, but Paola was very patient. She walked me through the process, and soon I was driving like a pro! She also taught us a lot about the region - I feel like a Chianti wine connoisseur now. Highly recommend booking this Vespa Tour while in Florence, it is an unforgettable experience!

Florence Vespa Tour

Did you know that the Vespa was born out of World War II?

Piaggio, the Vespa’s manufacturer, was originally an aircraft company. However, their factories were extensively damaged in World War 2, and Italy faced extensive aviation sanctions post-war. The aviation industry was no longer profitable. Piaggio’s solution? Invest in a modern, affordable, and efficient mode of transportation for the masses - one that would be especially useful in Italy’s war-damaged roads. And so he created the Vespa!
